What do I need to complete an eAdmission?

To complete an eAdmission you will need access to:

Mobile phone and an email address
Your Healthcare cards (Medicare, Private Health Insurance details, Concession card details. Other Insurance details such as Workcover or TAC details if applicable, Ambulance membership card
Personal and Next of Kin details
Contact details of your usual General Practitioner
Your list of current medications including both prescribed and supplementary, the strength, dose and reason for taking
Medical and surgical history
Documents provided by your admitting specialist including your Booking Letter and Consent Form.

You will need to create an account if you are a new user - you will require a valid email address and mobile phone number to submit your eAdmission online.

Select ‘Create User Account’ on the left side of the screen.

Enter user details.

You will get a warning in red text if your email address is already in use, or if your password does not meet requirements.

Select ‘Send me my validation text’ and enter in the validation code sent via SMS to the user’s mobile phone.

Can more than one person register using the same email address?

Yes, the same email address can be used for multiple patients, such as a parent registering the admission of their children as well as their own admission.

The same email address can also be used for multiple adult admissions.

How do I upload my documents?

Before completing your admission you may be asked to upload your Hospital Booking Letter and Consent form from your admitting specialist. These can be uploaded as images (.jpg or .png files) or scanned and uploaded as PDF documents. You can either drag and drop them, or search your computer folders to locate them.

How do I get help with my online admission if I need it?

If you have difficulties completing your online admission or uploading your documents you can contact our Admissions (Access Centre) team on 02 9480 9903 (select option 1) or by emailing accesscentre@sah.org.au.

When will I hear from the Hospital regarding my admission?

If you are being admitted to Sydney Adventist Hospital on the day of your procedure, you will be contacted by nursing staff in the later afternoon or evening the working day prior to confirm your admission time and pre-op requirements including fasting.

If you are being admitted the day before your procedure please arrive at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and attend the Access Centre of Level 4 of the Clifford Tower between 4.00pm - 5.00pm unless your doctor has specified otherwise.

If you are being admitted to San Day Surgery Hornsby, staff will contact you in the afternoon of the working day prior to confirm your admission time and pre-op instructions including fasting.

If there is sufficient time after you complete your online admission, you should receive an estimate of the hospital costs from our Patient Services team before your admission date.
